Layout

The Layout panel controls how nodes are positioned in the network view. Use layouts to organise the network structure, improve readability, and highlight patterns such as clusters, connections, or isolated nodes.

caution

All changes made in the Layout panel are applied to the currently selected view. Layout changes become visible after clicking Apply. To keep changes permanently, click Save. Unsaved changes are discarded if you leave the Networks module.

Access the Layout Panel​

  1. From the left-side toolbar, click the Layout icon — the Layout panel opens with a default layout type selected.

Change Network Layout Type​

  1. Click the Type dropdown.
  2. Select a layout type.
  3. Configure the layout settings if available.
  4. Click Apply, then click Save.

Reset Layout to Default Settings​

  1. Open the Layout panel.
  2. Click Load Defaults.
  3. Click Apply, then click Save.
