Views
Views are customised visual representations that define how network data is displayed. They allow you to configure layouts, styles, colours, sizes, shapes, filters, and other visual settings. Each view saves its own configuration, enabling you to create multiple perspectives for analysing your data.
Views can be applied across different partitions, meaning the same visual setup can be reused to explore and compare various data subsets consistently.
Views are not limited to a single partition. When you switch to a different partition, the currently selected view's settings — such as layout, styles, filters, and visual configurations — are applied to that partition as well.
There is no autosave feature for Views changes. Click Save regularly while working with Views in the Networks module.
Access the Views Panel
- From the left-side toolbar, click the Views icon — the Views panel opens with the Default View displayed and enabled by default.
Create a View
- In the Views panel, click + New.
If this is your first view, it is created as a copy of the Default View. If other views already exist, the new view is based on the currently selected view, which acts as a template.
- Enter a name for the view.
- Click Create, then click Save.
- Select the newly created view and begin customising its layout and visual settings.
Manage a View
- In the Views panel, click the three-dot menu next to the view you want to manage.
- Choose one of the following options:
- Duplicate — Creates a copy of the selected view.
- Rename — Updates the name of the view.
- Delete — Removes the view.
- Click Save.
You cannot delete the currently active view. Select a different view first, then delete the intended one.
Apply a View to a Different Partition
- In the Views panel, select the view you want to use.
- In the Partitions panel, select a different partition — the selected view's settings (layout, styles, filters, etc.) are automatically applied to the new partition.
