Navigation Link

The Navigation Link (Nav Link) Widget is used to create clickable navigation elements within a report. It allows users to navigate between slides or open external links directly from the report interface. Navigation links can be styled and positioned like other widgets, making them useful for creating interactive report menus, buttons, shortcuts, or guided navigation experiences.

caution

There is no autosave feature for Reports. Click Save regularly while working in the Report Workspace.

After inserting and selecting the Nav Link widget, its configuration options are displayed in the right-side Settings Panel under the Nav Link tab.

  • Link Mode — Define the navigation behaviour of the widget:
    • Slide Link — Redirect users to another slide within the report.
    • External Link — Open an external website or URL.
  • Target Slide — Select the destination slide when Slide Link mode is used.
  • Label — Define the text displayed on the navigation link widget.
  • Variant — Define the visual appearance style of the navigation link:
    • Text — Displays the link as plain text.
    • Outlined — Displays the link with an outlined border style.
    • Contained — Displays the link as a filled button style.
  • Styles — Configure the text appearance of the navigation link, including Font, Font Size, and Font Weight.
