Survey Workspace Management

Each workspace provides a complete environment to design a survey, manage participants, schedule survey rounds, configure notifications and rules, monitor progress, and review results and analytics.

Navigation

Open a Project → Select a Panel → Click Surveys

Create a Survey Workspace​

Requirements​

  • Only users with the ProjectAdmin or DesignManager role can create and manage survey workspaces.
  • At least one node type with respondent mode enabled must be created and its related nodes populated. These nodes represent the entities whose associated respondents will receive the survey and provide responses.
  • Required relationship types must be defined based on the type of study and analysis you want to perform.

Steps​

  1. In the Surveys module, click Create Survey.
  2. Enter the following details:
    • Survey Title — Name of the survey workspace.
    • Target Node Type — Select the node type for this survey workspace.
    • Description — Optional description.
    • Image — Optional visual representation for the survey workspace.
  3. Click Save — you are redirected to the dashboard for the new survey workspace.
caution

The selected Target Node Type cannot be changed after creation. Choose carefully.

note

Only node types with respondent mode enabled are available in the Target Node Type dropdown.

Open a Survey Workspace​

  1. Click the survey workspace card to open it.
    • In list view, click Open next to the survey workspace.
  2. You are redirected to the dashboard for that workspace.

Delete a Survey Workspace​

  1. Click the three-dot menu on the survey workspace card.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. In the confirmation dialog, type the survey workspace name.
  4. Click Delete.
caution

Deleting a survey workspace is permanent and cannot be undone.

Rename a Survey Workspace​

  1. Click the three-dot menu on the survey workspace card.
  2. Click Rename.
  3. Enter the new title and click Rename.

Mark or Remove a Survey Workspace as Favourite​

  1. Click the three-dot menu on the survey workspace card.
  2. Click Mark as Favourite to add it, or Remove Favourite to remove it.
  3. Favourite survey workspaces appear in the Favourite Items section in the left sidebar.
