Properties Panel

The Properties Panel dynamically updates based on your selection in the canvas, displaying the relevant configuration options for the survey, a page, or an individual question.

Survey Properties​

Survey properties control global aspects of the survey, including layout, navigation flow, data handling, and completion behaviour. The available configuration groups are:

  • General — Define basic survey settings such as title and overall configuration.
  • Navigation — Control how participants move through the survey (e.g., buttons, progress flow).
  • Question — Apply default settings that affect all questions.
  • Pages — Manage page structure and layout behaviour.
  • Logic — Define survey-level logic and conditions.
  • Data — Configure how survey data is stored and processed.
  • Validation — Set global validation rules.
  • Survey Complete — Customise the completion message and end-of-survey behaviour.
  • Timer/Quiz — Configure timing constraints or quiz-related settings.

Page Properties​

Page properties control the configuration and behaviour of an individual survey page, including its structure, visibility, logic, and layout. The available configuration groups are:

  • General — Define basic page settings such as name, title, description, visibility, and time limits.
  • Logic — Define conditions that control page visibility, editability, and behaviour.
  • Layout — Configure how questions and elements are displayed and organised within the page.

Question Properties​

Question properties are divided into two categories:

  • Common Properties — Available across most question types.
  • Question-Specific Properties — Each question type may include additional properties specific to the nature of its input.
